Juan Luis Rod (1987). Diploma in Foreign Language (English) by the University of Seville, University Expert in Applied Photography by the University Miguel Hernández of Elche (Alicante), Professional Photography Course in EFTI (Madrid). Postgraduate course in photojournalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Winner of the International Human Rights Competition 10/12/48 (Women's Rights Prize). Selected among the winners of the Contemporary Contest. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions (Italy, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Spain...) and has published several photography books with other collectives "Contemporarte 2015" and "Flamantes 2016". He has worked as a photographer for El Periódico and has also published his work in media such as Equal Times, The Guardian, Planeta Futuro, El Salto Diario, and is currently a regular contributor to El País. He has worked for NGOs such as Médicos del Mundo, Agence Français de Développement, Ayuda en Acción, CIC, Alianza por la Solidaridad, Madre Coraje, among others and in different countries such as Uganda, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Mali, Tunisia, Brazil, Peru, among others. He is co-founder of the collective WE ARE PHOTO.
